Job Description
Position Summary
:Canada enshrined the right to housing in the National Housing Strategy Act in 2019, yet housing and homelessness remain pervasive challenges in communities across the country. This seminar covers the history and current landscape of Canadian housing and homelessness policy. Students will learn about the multi-level governance challenges, the influence of public opinion, financialization and the emerging rights-based policies and practices for addressing the ongoing housing and homelessness crisis.
Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: PhD (ABD included)
Qualifications – Required Discipline: Political Science or field with focus on Community
Qualifications – Other: Experience in Public Policy and the Housing Sector preferred.
Salary: $10 212.40 (C.A. article 25.2)
