Job Description
Job Summary Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing and heating related devices such as but not limited to pumps, water distribution piping, valves, fixtures, back flow preventers and drainage interceptors,
Installs and maintains drainage systems including chemical resistant
Performs preventive maintenance tasks on designated plumbing and heating related equipment
Fits, aligns and tacks
Makes recommendations for upgrading plumbing systems based on best economical/professional judgement
Performs all duties in accordance with the current Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act, National Plumbing Code as well as University and Government rules and regulations
Maintains a clean work environment
