Playwright Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Playwright-based automation frameworks for web applications. Create automated test scripts for web applications and APIs. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for frontend (UI) and backend (API, database) components. Conduct comprehensive API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high‑quality software solutions. Apply knowledge of Generative AI platforms to test AI‑driven features or use AI tools to optimise the testing lifecycle. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.

Qualifications

Overall 5‑7 years of experience as an SDET or in a similar automation testing role. Must have 2+ years of strong hands‑on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript). Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with Java‑based test automati...
