Platform Engineer II

Job Description

We are a team responsible for maintaining and evolving a Payment Orchestration Platform called ProcessOut. This platform was acquired by Checkout.com in March 2020 and is already powering many large and famous brands like Glovo, NordVPN, and Bolt (with many more that we can’t name and even more to come). We are a self‑sufficient team that operates in a fully agile way. Our backend services are written in Go, backed by multiple data stores (Redis, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Postgres…), and our platform spans multiple AWS regions. We run multiple Kubernetes (EKS) clusters per region, fronted by Envoy edge proxies routing globally. We use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Datadog is extensively used for monitoring and alerting. We are experiencing constant growth in the number of handled transactions, new clients and integrations.
