Plant Operator Wood Chip Power Plant £30,000 Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Operator to carry out routine and maintenance at a Wood chip burning power plant in Milton Earnest, Bedfordshire As an Plant Operator you will be responsible for: The day to day operations of the plant, making regular check of the plant and equipment Making adjustments, repairs and service of the equipment to aid the smooth running of the plant Monitoring the plant via a SCADA system with training given, maintaining records and reports in various logs eg: daily checks, midnight readings and water sample testing Ensuring the plant is operating within its parameters whilst complying with HSE rules Maintain site tidiness and general good housekeeping To be considered for this role you should have: Experience working in the industry such as gas or coal power plants, biomass, anaerobic digestion or biogas would be an advantage but not necessary as all t...
