Job Description:



**POSITION PURPOSE**


This position is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Bison Generation Station (BGS) facility to economically produce electricity to satisfy member needs.


**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**

+ Provide technical input for the decision-making process in power plant operation and maintenance. Keep plant staff informed of all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the facility and implement necessary corrective actions.
+ Manage plant operational equipment; develop and maintain plant personnel and equipment safety standards; and develop preventative maintenance procedures and operational procedure manuals.
