Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) to recruit for a temporary Planning Officer – Development Management on an initial 3 month contract with potential for this to extend. Please note you will be required in the Civic Offices in Epping a minimum of 1 day a week (currently a Thursday).

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Planning Officer post will provide opportunities to deal with a range of planning applications and all tasks associated with the business of the Service. Epping Forest is a Green Belt District, with a large rural area but with excellent connections to London so the south of the district is much more suburban in character.
