Planner/ Buyer

Overview

The Planner Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials and components required for manufacturing. This role involves close coordination with receiving, production, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials aligned with customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales orders.
  • Convert master production schedules into detailed material requirements using MRP.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure BOMs and routings.
• Procurement
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Procure raw materials, components, and services required for custom builds.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers.
