Piping Designer

**What You'll Be Doing**

**Job Scope:** The Piping Designer is generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete designs of mechanical/piping assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex mechanical/piping assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision in Pasadena, TX

**Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:**

+ Drafting of redlined P&IDs.
+ Ensuring new P&IDs align with lead sheets. This includes updating equipment, valves, and instrument symbols.
+ Consolidate multiple P&IDs to one P&ID.
+ Field verify any unknowns/gaps in current P&ID set.
+ Development of P&IDs by field sketching existing pipelines, equipment, and instrumentation where no documentation is available.
+ Updated P&IDs in native CAD format and PDF format.
+ Final “Issued for As-Built” package to be delivered to the site.
