Pipeline Protection Engineer

Your new company

Hays has been retained to recruit a Pipeline Protection Engineer for our client, who is a Semi-State Utilities Company with bases throughout Ireland.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Pipeline Safety Engineer, the Pipeline Protection Engineer will:

Develop and manage interfaces with key stakeholders such as Local Authorities, National Roads Authority, Railway Procurement Agency, Fire Services, and Electrical Infrastructure operators.

Liaise with third parties regarding development near Transmission Pipelines or Distribution Strategic Mains, including:

Local Authorities

Architects, Engineers, and Planning Consultants

Property Developers

Electrical Infrastructure developers and operators

Landowners and Farmers

Contractors and Utilities

Approve and issue maps, drawings, and relevant codes of practice using technologies such as GIS and DBYD online.
