Job Description

This role involves performing structural steel welding and fitting at a steel fabrication facility, including flux core and tack welding, precise measurement, and production work with a variety of metals. You will support the fabrication of structural and mechanical components by interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring high-quality welds and fits that meet production and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel fitting and welding duties in a steel fabrication environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout, measurements, and fabrication requirements.
• Use a tape measure accurately to the 1/16th of an inch to mark, layout, and verify dimensions.
