Job Description
Job Title: Apprentice / Journeyman Pipefitter (3rd/4th Year+) – Calgary, AB
Overview
Join a growing industrial contractor working on pressure piping systems in a fabrication shop with some field exposure. Ideal for 3rd/4th year apprentices or Journeypersons looking to build hands-on fabrication and installation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, assemble, and install pressure piping systems (roll grooved, threaded, stainless steel, thin-wall)
- Read and interpret spool/isometric drawings
- Perform fit-up, assembly, and quality checks on piping spools
- Support hydro testing and basic QA/QC processes
- Work in shop and assist with field installations (water, steam, gas, drainage)
- Operate tools and equipment (lifts, forklifts) as required
- Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow all safety procedures
