Physician - Hospitalist

Summary A position exist for a full-time Hospitalist at the Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. The incumbent will participate in the night/weekend on-call schedule rotation for acute SCI/D inpatient wards and long term care ward. Care for those patients admitted for acute medical emergencies to the medical care wards by consultation and recommendations to their attending physicians are required. The incumbent exercises considerable clinical expert opinion and judgment in accomplishing responsibilities. Responsibilities Hospitalist's duties include admission, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, including consultation, of patients presenting with general medical complaints, diseases, and injuries.
