Physician Assistant (Vascular)

Summary The Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) is a member of the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Surgery Service and works in the in patient and outpatient settings under the direction of the Chief of the Surgery Service and supervision of the Vascular Surgery Section Chief. Responsibilities Duties include but not limited to: The Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant will practice medicine as a member of a team with their Collaborating Surgeon/s. Working as a member of the health care team they will promote and maintain health by providing the following medical services: 1. Obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations. 2. Providing and coordinating medical care for assigned patients in any care setting, including establishing diagnoses, formulating and implementing care plans, and providing follow-up care. 3.
