Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology Focus

Become a valued member of the Gastroenterology division at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a Physician Assistant. This role focuses on both inpatient and outpatient clinical support for gastrointestinal health.
As a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant, you will directly assist supervising physicians to manage a variety of complex gastrointestinal conditions. Your skills in conducting assessments and collaborating with healthcare teams will be pivotal in improving patient outcomes. You will also participate in educational initiatives as RVH is a teaching hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inpatient rounds with attending gastroenterologists
• Formulate and implement clinical treatment plans
• Provide patient and family education on health issues
• Complete necessary medical documentation and records
• Support outpatient clinic operations and urgent assessments
Requirements:
• Must possess a Secondary School Diploma and an Undergraduate Degree
