Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Medical Occupations to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Physician (Aero-space Medicine) under the general professional direction of the United States Army Aviation Brigade (TAAB) and Director of Clinical Support at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC), Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities Provides routine care for chronic medical problems within scope of practice and scope of care for TAAB. Care is generally rendered in the outpatient clinics on a scheduled basis, but, to meet patient needs, they may need to be walked in or added to the physician's schedule. Provides care, advice, and referral coordination via telephone and e-mail as appropriate.
