Physical Security Specialist (SCIF / ICD 705)

Every mission depends on a secure environment. As a Physical Security Specialist at COLSA, you'll help safeguard the facilities that support critical defense operations. Based in Washington, DC, you'll provide technical expertise in the design, construction, inspection, and accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), ensuring compliance with ICD 705, Intelligence Community directives, and federal physical security standards.

Travel: ~2x a month


+ Provide subject matter expertise on ICD 705 requirements throughout the planning, design, construction, and accreditation of SCIFs.

+ Review architectural, mechanical, electrical, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with ICD 705 standards and customer security requirements.

+ Interpret blueprints and construction documentation to verify appropriate building methods, materials, and security controls.
