Hours are generally 0500-1330 Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday) are typically every 3rd weekend working 0500-1400. When weekend is worked, the typical days off are the Thursday prior and the Monday after. Start times or days worked may vary based on department and patient needs.

Pay Range:

$20.80 - $31.20

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs venipuncture and collects other specimens form newborn, pediatric, and adult patients according to established protocol. Collaborates with patient care regarding difficult venipunctures.

Receives and sorts lab specimens. Packages and tracks specimens for transport. Processes specimens for testing including centrifuging, aliquoting, and storing samples. Lo...
