Job Description
Overview
Zulekha Hospital Dubai needs a careful Phlebotomist to collect blood and urine samples from daily visitors at the Al Qusais medical laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Use sterile needles to draw blood from arms while keeping nervous patients calm and relaxed.
- Put the exact patient name barcode on every glass vial immediately so lab results never get mixed up.
- Keep the drawing chair clean and wipe down all armrests with strong alcohol sanitizers after every single person.
- Safely throw away used sharp needles and dirty cotton into the correct yellow danger bins.
Qualifications / Selection Rules
- DHA Approval: You must have the official Dubai Health Authority paper or active card to work in a lab environment.
- Technical Skill: Must know the clear difference between red, purple, and blue top tubes for various machine tests.
