Open Position PhD Student Position for the TH BSM Group

This PhD research position is offered by the Theoretical Physics Group at IFAE within the Beyond the Standard Model and Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology research areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out independent and collaborative research in topics such as physics beyond the Standard Model, formal aspects of quantum field theories, gravitation, gravitational waves, quantum sensing of fundamental backgrounds, cosmology, and astroparticle physics.
• Produce scientific results that lead to a PhD degree within four years.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or equivalent, and admission to the Physics PhD program at UAB before the start of the grant (expected fall 2026).
• Proficiency in English.
