Job Description
The Pharmacy Floor Technician supports the safe and efficient preparation of prescriptions by accurately picking, labeling, scanning, and readying medications for final verification by a pharmacist. This role works under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulations, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities

+ Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist.

+ Pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas, including prepack racks, to fulfill prescription orders.

+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to verify accuracy, alerting the pharmacist on duty to any medication or product that does not scan properly.

+ Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle or dispose of them according to established procedures.<...
