Responsibilities

Dispense and compound drugs as delegated by a Pharmacist and manage the distribution component of Pharmacy Services in line with Hospital Pharmacy standards.

Program Incentive

North Bay Regional Health Centre offers $5,000 in exchange for a two-year commitment as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician. Funds are received in increments throughout the two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (Ontario College of Pharmacists)
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy and hospital pharmacy automated technologies are assets
• Knowledge and experience with Meditech is an asset
