Job Description
An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to work predominantly night shifts in a large, fast-paced hospital setting in Houston, TX. This contract role requires an immediate start and extends for approximately 13 weeks, offering exposure to diverse inpatient pharmacy operations.
Ideal candidates will hold a valid Texas pharmacist license and possess a Texas IV certification. Candidates should bring a minimum of two years of inpatient pharmacy experience. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records systems is considered a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in a high-volume hospital environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use for inpatients
- Provide clinical pharmacy expertise during the night shift to support patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
