The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and effective use of medications. In meeting this responsibility, the Pharmacist reviews and monitors drug therapy; interacts with patients, physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals to resolve drug related problems; and counsels and educates patients regarding drug therapy. Pharmacists also participate in the training and preceptorship of undergraduate and resident Pharmacist students.

Regular Full-Time

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (guarantee of hours)

Rate of pay: $54.93 per hour - $68.67 per hour

Responsibilities

Review and monitor drug therapy.

Interact with patients, physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals to resolve drug related problems.

Counsel and educate patients regarding drug therapy.
