Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established behavioral health facility in Columbia, MO is seeking an Interim Pharmacist in Charge/Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting. This role requires immediate availability with a start date of April 29. The initial phase includes two days of cross-training, with independent responsibility beginning May 1 and continuing until a permanent hire is made.
Responsibilities include supervising daily pharmacy functions, managing medication dispensing processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations specific to behavioral health inpatient services. The pharmacist will also be responsible for repackaging medications, maintaining automated dispensing systems, and generating restock reports.
