Summary You will serve as a Petroleum Engineer. This position is located in Anchorage, Alaska. Information about Anchorage and the surrounding area can be found here. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate. Pay will vary based on grade level for which you're selected. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Reviewing Applications for Permits to Drill (APDs) for technical adequacy and compliance with Bureau policy. Conducting engineering and economic analysis to determine viability of proposals as well as the short- and long-term benefits to the government.
