Personnel Security Specialist

Summary This position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Personnel Security and Suitability, Adjudications Division (DS/PSS/ADJ). This position serves as a Personnel Security Specialist routinely will be responsible for directing the conduct and certifying the sufficiency of initial pre-employment investigations conducted for the purpose of determining suitability and security clearance eligibility. Responsibilities Analyze background investigative information applying national adjudicative criteria and granting interim security clearances, public trust determinations, and final security clearances. Identifies and analyzes trends in investigations to ensure investigative sufficiency regarding suitability/security clearance eligibility.
