About the role

1. Assess staffing needs in consultation with managers and supervisors
2. Advertise vacancies, review CVs, interview and trial candidates
3. Onboard and induct new candidates
4. Research and ensure correct pay rates, penalties and other employment conditions
5. Monitor staff performance
6. Develop the Henry’s Mercato recruitment and retention strategy, making Henry’s a desirable place to work
7. Develop and implement staff training and safety programs
8. Arrange and oversee staff tea rooms, facilities and amenities
