Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat eye conditions in children, providing comprehensive eye care for pediatric patients with a range of eye conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures including strabismus surgery, pediatric cataracts, congenital glaucoma, and complex anterior segment surgeries.
• Manage amblyopia, congenital and developmental eye disorders, and provide ROP screening and treatment.
• Collaborate with subspecialists in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Contribute to teaching and academic initiatives.

Qualifications (Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus)

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.
• Board certification (or equivalent).
• Eligible for licensure with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH).
• Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience.
