Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join a manufacturing organization in Brampton, Ontario on a Long-term Contract basis. This position is responsible for leading payroll operations across Canadian and U.S. employee groups while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and ensuring legislative compliance. The role also partners closely with Finance and HR to support reporting, reconciliations, benefits administration, and period-end activities.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the full payroll cycle for a large employee population, ensuring each pay run is completed accurately and on schedule across weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly periods.
• Review and authorize payroll updates such as new hires, departures, incentive payments, garnishments, and retroactive adjustments while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
