Payroll Specialist Junior (San Cugat del Vallés)

The Alpega Group is looking for a Junior Payroll Specialist. This role is part of the payroll team within the finance organization and will report to the Manager of Payroll EU. The position is based in Barcelona, Spain.

About the Role

As a payroll specialist, you will act as an essential interface between internal teams and external stakeholders, managing payroll-related tasks across selected entities.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all payroll-related tasks in assigned entities
• Reconcile the monthly payroll received from the external provider
• Collect and review timesheet data and payroll information
• Prepare accruals and ledger entries for accounting and control of payroll files
• Update payroll systems, including employment hires and terminations
• Calculate salaries, overtime, commission, bonus, vacation days, and other payroll components
