The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of a busy payroll function within a growing accountancy practice.The firm is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager who can confidently manage the payroll lifecycle from start to finish while acting as the main point of contact for clients, HMRC and pension providers.This role offers autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how the payroll department operates.The Role Responsibilities will include:
- Managing weekly, monthly and four-weekly payrolls
- Overseeing the full payroll lifecycle
- Acting as the primary contact for payroll clients
- Managing HMRC and pension-related queries
- Setting up PAYE schemes and payroll systems for new clients
