Paving Superintendent (Prince Rupert)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily Asphalt Paving field operations, coordinating with owners and general contractors, and organizing crews and sub-contractors. The Paving Superintendent ensures contracts are completed safely, on time, on budget, in compliance with specifications and customer expectations. The role includes providing accurate revenue and cost information to accounting staff in a timely manner and reviewing invoices and cost reports prior to release. The Paving Superintendent contributes to developing and maintaining the capabilities of the GVA operations organization to increase construction revenue and profitability, including coaching and mentoring direct reports and promoting a culture of agility, collaboration, and empowerment for continuous improvement.
