UPMC Vision Institute is hiring a Patient Services Representative to support our Tarentum location at 303 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084. This position works Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and requires travel as needed to support additional Vision Institute locations, including UPMC St. Margaret, Monroeville, Wexford, Mercy, Oakland, and Shadyside. In this patient-facing role, you will greet and assist patients, collect copayments, verify and update demographic and insurance information, schedule follow-up appointments, scrub provider schedules, and obtain vision exam authorizations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy ophthalmology practice.
