The culture in the ED is a team approach. They must have willingness to work as a team with the expectation of being able to adjust to a high acuity and fast-paced department. Every other weekend and holiday are required, along with hard to fill days.

Patient Care Technician - Emergency Department - 36 Hours - Midnights

Eligible for Full-Time Benefits

Shift: Midnights 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, alternating weekend schedule

GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:

+ Aids with movement and placement of patients.

+ Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

+ Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.

+ Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
