Pastoral Care Officer - Yishun

Contract Period: From 1 July 2026 to 30 November 2026 with an option to extend the contract for another year

Working hours:
. Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Services:

1. First responding:
. Responds to call for help from teachers to remove student and bring the student to pull-out location
. Provides triaging and basic counselling for students who flareup
. Contact parents to provide first updates
. Provides input to SC, SENO, DM, SDT for follow-up

2. Befriending/mentoring:
. Befriend and mentor students at risk of re-offending 3. Other duties:
. Manages student engagement activity hub
. Supports after-school programmes / learning journeys for high-needs pupils
. Attends CMT meetings to be familiar with identified SwANs
