School Overview



Greater Egleston High School is a Boston Public Pilot School serving approximately 125 students in grades 9–12. Located in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, the school was originally established as a community-based initiative to support students in need of alternative pathways to academic success.



We serve students ages 16–21 who are seeking an alternative to a traditional high school setting. Our programming supports motivated students who are overage and under-credited in accelerating their progress toward a high school diploma through a semesterised schedule, rolling admissions, and tiered systems of support. With small class sizes capped at 15, each student receives holistic guidance through personalized advisories.
