Part-time teachers (substitute), biology and health education / Tampere Classical High School

Position Overview

We are seeking a full‑time biology and health education teacher for a substitute position at Tampere Classical High School from August 10 to September 25, 2026.

Teaching Responsibilities

The teaching schedule includes:

• 1x BI1 course
• 2x TE1 courses
• Half of the biology review course for graduating students (total 3.5 teaching hours)

Candidate Profile

The candidate should have strong pedagogical skills, good teamwork abilities, comprehensive knowledge of the subjects taught, and experience in different learning environments. Digital skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Based on the Decree on Qualifications for Teaching Staff (986/1998, Section 10).
• In temporary positions, if qualified applicants are unavailable, other suitable candidates such as students nearing the end of their studies will be considered.
