The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at Island Health is seeking one full-time or two part-time psychiatrists specializing in collaboration within community settings. The successful candidates will provide outpatient consultations and support in various long-term care facilities. Experience in psychogeriatric care is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient psychiatric consultations at the Senior’s Outpatient Clinic
• Support care for the Esquimalt Westshore Health Unit
• Engage in Telehealth consultations for remote communities
• Participate in Geriatric Psychiatry call rotation
• Support training for medical students and residents
Requirements:
• Must be eligible for Canadian Association of Geriatric Psychiatry
• Valid CPSBC license needed...
