Job Description
A part-time academic is needed to teach LJSO Legal Research and Writing; currently scheduled for In-Person delivery, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1605-1725, in the Fall term (Sept-Dec) 2026.
The part-time academic’s duties include responsibility for planning the course, teaching the class, coordinating guest speakers and/or library visits; evaluating the students, and administration relating to the class. The part-time academic must be available for consultation with students outside of class times. This position will report to the Coordinator of the Law, Justice & Society Program.
Course Description
This course aims to develop practical research skills, with a focus on researching the law in Nova Scotia and Canada using both print and electronic resources.
