Additional Information:

Northland School Division is seeking a Part-Time Cree Language Instructor for Bishop Routhier School for the 2026-2027 school year. The start date will be August 31st, 2026. The kindergarten to grade 7 school is located in the Peavine Métis Settlement. The settlement is situated within Big Lakes County and is approximately 56 kilometres north of High Prairie on Highway 750. Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Fluency in the Indigenous language of the community.

  • Preference to candidates having classroom and/or classroom management skills.

  • The ability to develop lesson plans.

  • Interest in working with children.

  • Training and/or background in working with children would be an asset.
