Parks and Sport Grounds Operative

We are seeking committed individuals who want to help keep the City’s green spaces thriving.

As a Parks and Sports Grounds Operative, the successful applicant will carry out grounds maintenance and horticultural tasks, prepare and maintain sports pitches, and assist with light caretaking duties such as pavilion cleaning and liaising with park users. The role involves working across various locations in Chelmsford, with a 37-hour week from Thursday to Monday, including some evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
