Summary This position is located in the Division of Law Enforcement, Security, and Emergency Services (LESES), within the National Park Service's (NPS) Washington Office of Visitor and Resource Protection (VRP). This position serves as a national law enforcement specialist providing expert guidance, support, and directionin the formulation and execution of national policy, guidelines, standards related to law enforcement, security, and law enforcement programs. Responsibilities Major Duties of the Park Ranger (Protection) - Records Program Manager position include, but are not limited to the following: Supports parks nationwide by managing law enforcement systems and equipment, coordinating interagency efforts, and advising on complex and sensitive law enforcement matters.
