Description
This position is responsible for painting and sandblasting heavy equipment, oil field pump skids, generator packages, and related equipment in a shop environment.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:
- Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values;
- Collaborate with key internal/external resources;
- Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions
- Performs painting preparation process to assure quality paint application
- Operates painting or coating tools on assigned equipment in order to improve appearance that results in customer satisfaction
- Straightens body panels and fenders
- Fills small dents that cannot be worked out with body filler
- Files, grinds, sands and smooths filled or repaired surfaces
