Job Description
Join Nova Scotia Health as an Outpatient Addiction Medicine Physician at the Amherst Recovery Support Centre. Deliver patient-centered care and expert support for substance use disorders part-time.
We seek a collaborative physician specializing in Family Practice for a 0.4 FTE role within our Mental Health and Addictions Program. You will provide comprehensive assessments and Opioid Agonist Treatment, while developing individualized care plans. This position involves flexible scheduling, allowing for a balance with other clinical endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outpatient addiction assessments and ongoing management
• Deliver Opioid Agonist Treatment and pharmacologic therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans
