Position Overview
The Squamish Outdoor Leadership and Education Centre (SOLE Centre), based at Easter Seals, is a 20-acre property filled with enriched experiential learning opportunities. Visitors of all ages will access the site for single-day, overnight, and multi-day experiential learning opportunities. Squamish and the surrounding wilderness also provide easy access to world-class outdoor rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and paddling.
The health and wellbeing benefits of experiential outdoor education are well-researched and a core element in Mulgrave's strategic plan, paired with an emphasis on social emotional learning. Additionally, the possibilities for experiential learning in the sciences, the arts, languages, math, and the humanities are endless.
