Job Description
We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board Certified Physician to cover a high-yield, 6-day block over a long weekend in August. This assignment demands a highly skilled specialist capable of managing a 209-bed facility's inpatient rounding, daytime clinics, and 24-hour emergency call. Partial availability will not be considered; the provider must work the entire stretch.
Clinical Schedule & Workload Pacing- Daytime Shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- 24-Hour Beeper Call: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM concurrent with and following clinic shifts.
- Call Scope & Volume: Covers both assigned (established) and unassigned emergency patients.
- Response Time: Mandatory minute response window.
- Patient Encounters: Averages 0 3 patients seen per call shift.
