Location: Guildford – Royal Surrey County Hospital. Contract: 12‑month fixed term starting October 2026. Grade: ST3+. Hours: 40 hours per week plus out‑of‑hours. Salary: £67,325 – £76,582 per annum, plus enhancements.

The Orthopaedic Oncology Fellow (ST3+) will be part of the Trauma & Orthopaedics resident team, undertaking acute oncology referrals, investigations, and surgical care with consultant supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process acute oncology referrals as the orthopaedic medicine and clinical point of contact.
• Liaise with oncology teams and coordinate investigations.
• Work patients up for surgery and attend specialist theatre lists.
• Arrange follow‑up and liaise with oncology.
• Make referrals to Stanmore via EPIC referral software and communicate advice to relevant clinicians.
