Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Ordinary Seaman (OS) to work on board a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will support deck operations, keep the vessel safe and clean, and assist the deck officers and Bosun in day-to-day work.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning and greasing on deck
- Participate in lookout and steering duties as required
- Handle and secure cargo gear and deck equipment
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support general maintenance and other tasks assigned by officers and Bosun
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as OS, preferably on bulk carriers
- Valid STCW certificates and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a positive and safety-minded attitude
