Role Overview

The Order Entry Representative is responsible for accurately processing customer orders into the company’s ERP system. The role is hybrid and requires coordination with Customer Service Representatives and other internal groups to resolve issues with incoming orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter all orders accurately and completely by published deadlines.
• Verify correct customer documentation for orders received via phone, fax, EDI, email, mail and any other means.
• Prepare orders for entry into the order processing system, including changes, cancellations, and new orders.
• Prioritize order processing by same day shipments, routing code, value of order, and other factors.
• Work with Customer Service Representatives to provide information on pricing, part numbers, and other data needed for accurate order entry.
